Days prior to general election, status quo forces exploit call for national pride regarding German WWII soldiers to extract political capital.

in the Syrian conflict

The conservative voters in Germany have been left without representation as the traditionally right-of-center Christian Democratic Union and their daughter party, the Christian Social Union have adopted ultra-liberal immigrant politics in recent years as part of the coalition government they have formed with the traditionally left-of-center Social Democratic Union. The population has noticed that the two parties have abandoned their traditional platforms in favor of policies in which immigrants are favored by the powers that be over the natives as the present government bends over backwards to make the largely integration-unwilling, often unidentified and wholly unvetted immigrants that purport to come as asylum-seekers feel welcome at the cost of order and security for those that have been in the country long before the immigrant flood beginning in the third quarter of 2015. The violence and fraud perpetrated by those registered for asylum has been under-reported by mainstream sources as Muslim-controlled no-go areas expand, putting unnecessary pressure on a strapped police force , but the population has slowly begun to realize they've been duped. Along comes a party that is more in line with a Germany and Germans first mentality that causes many Germans to cringe because they have been trained to be ashamed of their heritage their entire life. The AFD (Alternative for Germany) party has been gaining support as it dawns on the population that their interests will never be protected by the established parties and those parties are fighting tooth and nail to discredit the AFD at every turn. Dr. Gauland's remarks appear to be blasphemy in the German shame cult, but his point was the same as any leader should be expected to support; those soldiers who fought in WWII believed in defending their country and were willing to make the ultimate sacrifice if need be. Anyone that would make you believe it was common knowledge that prisoners were being methodically exterminated is making an intellectually dishonest argument. The villagers near the concentration camps were shocked when the allies herded them to the concentration camps to witness the remains of the carnage and soldiers on the front were unaware of it as well. If you believe the allies hadn't committed any atrocities during that war, you need to do some research starting with the prisoner camps on the Rhein-Main Wiese. Humanity suffers every time there is an armed conflict, on all sides. An old quote says "The first casualty of combat is the truth.". Article 24 of the Hague Convention of 1907 states that "Ruses of war and the employment of measures necessary for
obtaining information about the enemy and the country are considered
permissible. ", so no one in their right mind can expect that any of the governments involved in that conflict were truthful about anything that might weaken their position or how they or their policies were perceived by outsiders.
This article doesn't bother to mention that the Germans, programmed to be ashamed of their heritage in relation to Jewry since the end of WWII, cowed by spartanic punishment for speaking their mind when it is not politically correct are as a people less inclined to perform hate crimes against Jews than the Muslim 'refugees' that have been led through safe countries to apply for asylum in Germany. The only thing Germany owes these people is to stop letting their government be involved in the Syrian conflict using AWACS spy planes and tanker aircraft in support of the aggressors that have been tearing the country apart for the last years.
The recently passed, by vote of very few members of the parliament, "Netzwerkdurchsetzungsgesetz" or Network Control Law calls for very stiff fines for social media sites that do not remove 'hate speech' from their websites when reported.
The term 'hate speech' has not been legally defined and certain groups have been selected by the government as gatekeepers to classify comments. This law is in direct conflict with Article 5 of the Basic Law, Germany's so-called constitution which was actually forced upon the Germans by the Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Forces Europe at the end of WWII when the country was confiscated, but not annexed by the allied forces.
"Article 5
[Freedom of expression, arts and sciences]

(1) Every person shall have the right freely to express and disseminate his opinions in speech, writing and pictures, and to inform himself without hindrance from generally accessible sources. Freedom of the press and freedom of reporting by means of broadcasts and films shall be guaranteed. There shall be no censorship.

(2) These rights shall find their limits in the provisions of general laws, in provisions for the protection of young persons, and in the right to personal honour.

(3) Arts and sciences, research and teaching shall be free. The freedom of teaching shall not release any person from allegiance to the constitution."

Provisions for the replacement of the Basic Law governing the country were written in Article 146
[Duration of the Basic Law]

"This Basic Law, which since the achievement of the unity and freedom of Germany applies to the entire German people, shall cease to apply on the day on which a constitution freely adopted by the German people takes effect."

Oddly enough, posts from Antifa, ISIS-sympathizers and other violent non-conformists threatening conservatives don't seem to show up on the gatekeepers' radar as hate speech.
The Germans have every right to preserve their heritage, identity and the sovereignty of their borders just as any other country would be expected to do.
The polls have the CDU/CSU at around 38% popularity, virtually unchanged by recent events although the party head, Chancellor Angela Merkel has been booed and attacked with tomatoes at recent rallies. This is as believable in retrospect as Hillary's purported 15% lead on the night before Donald Trump won the US election.

The chances of the German people to actually receive their own constitution by voting for the same parties that have thwarted it since the re-unification of East and West Germany are virtually nill, but with the AFD influencing German politics, the German people could have a chance at forming their own way of government and attaining a peace treaty, finally ending the last world war.

Trump-Supporting Teen's School Photo Published Without Original MAGA Slogan

A New Jersey teen wore his Trump shirt to picture day to make his political alignment clear for posterity. By the time the yearbook was published, it was evident that the photo had been tampered with, because in it, the shirt no longer bore the "Trump- Make America Great Again" motif that was on the teen's navy blue T-shirt when the picture was taken.

What in the world is going on here?

It's not clear whether the censor was undertaken at behest of the school, or of the company that took the school photos.

Did someone at the school, in a fit of rampaging anti-Americanism decide that political opinions had to be skewed? Perhaps believing the wearer had the 'wrong' political alignment. Well, whoever that was, let me tell you something, the 'Democracy' we are told rules our country is absolutely dependent on the participation of an informed electorate in order to work. Public school is supposed to be a place to learn, and people learn more in a discussion, so declaring a school a 'no political opinions zone' is nonproductive. It is even less productive in the long run when the young people are given politically correct views and talking points to parrot instead of being taught to understand the background and form their own opinions by logically evaluating all known aspects. This is just a symptom of concentrating power in government ad absurdum. Functionaries that are all-to-willing to blindly follow an ideology that will hopefully provide perks for themselves, without regard for the bigger picture and what it means for those impacted.

This was an abuse of power, an overreach and very good example of why the good people always have to be on the lookout at the local level politically.

8,000 Documents Detail CIA Crimes — But US Media Won’t Touch Them

Wikileaks Vault7 dump will result in the largest publication of classified material ever. The methods used by the CIA to spy on and execute covert, unlawful assasinations on their adversaries or just people that get in their way have been published in detail, but the news is still spinning around requests that Trump provide evidence for his tweet which accused Obama of having his communications tapped.

How the ACLU is gearing up to take on Trump, one city at a time

WASHINGTON — The American Civil Liberties Union wants to take over your town. On Saturday, the organization is launching a nationwide campaign to push local governments to become “Freedom Cities” by adopting a series of policies to make them safe havens for immigrants and refugees amid what the group has dubbed President Trump’s “mass deportation agenda.”

Mr Shakir, let me explain how the VAST MAJORITY of the country feels about your master plan by telling you a little story:

I bought a bird feeder. I hung it on my back porch and filled it with seed. What a beauty of a bird feeder it was, as I filled it lovingly with seed. Within a week we had hundreds of birds taking advantage of the continuous flow of free and easily accessible food. But then the birds started building nests in the boards of the patio, above the table, and next to the barbecue. Then came the chit. It was everywhere: on the patio tile, the chairs, the table ... everywhere! Then some of the birds turned mean. They would dive bomb me and try to peck me even though I had fed them out of my own pocket. And others birds were boisterous and loud. They sat on the feeder and squawked and screamed at all hours of the day and night and demanded that I fill it when it got low on food. After a while, I couldn't even sit on my own back porch anymore. So I took down the bird feeder and in three days the birds were gone. I cleaned up their mess and took down the many nests they had built all over the patio. Soon, the back yard was like it used to be ..... quiet, serene.... and no one demanding their rights to a free meal. Now let's see.....Our government gives out free food, subsidized housing, free medical care and free education, and allows anyone born here to be an automatic citizen. Then the illegals came by the tens of thousands. Suddenly our taxes went up to pay for free services; small apartments are housing 5 families; you have to wait 6 hours to be seen by an emergency room doctor; Your child's second grade class is behind other schools because over half the class doesn't speak English. Corn Flakes now come in a bilingual box; I have to 'press one ' to hear my bank talk to me in English, and people waving flags other than ”ours” are squawking and screaming in the streets, demanding more rights and free liberties. I think it's time for the government to take down the bird feeder. I’ve about had it with this chit.
And look, if you don’t like what I’ve just written here then it’s probably time for you to pack your ditty bag and leave because we’ve elected a president who was elected legally on promising to do just what I just wrote about in this illustrative little story. I like having birds in my yard just like any other bird over but I determine how many and by hospitality, I run the show, the birds don’t and should a radical squirrel try to raid the seed he or she tastes my pellet gun.
There’s a message here Shakir, hope you got it because it’s coming, one way or the other it’s coming. Peacefully or violently, bet on it.

We needed lawsuits capped (tort reform) in order to lower doctors costs and end their defensive medicine.

We needed more competition and more flexibility on what plans are allowed and we need to repeal the No-Bid status of Big Pharma and make it easier to get drugs brought to market,

But even with all that it was still better than Obamacare which fixed none of those problems, and just added new ones which RINO keeps in place.

We don't need insurance plans for healthy check ups with the doctors. We need catastrophic care insurance for when things go wrong.
'Health Insurance' is neither. Our Health is a personal responsibility, and insurance companies only exist to perpetuate their business, which is to avoid paying out things that they can get away with not paying for.

You are correct, if we pay out of pocket for normal visits, the price will go down, this is how things work, get Govt involved and the prices sky rocket, take a look at Collage, federal funding grants and loans, now if you cant get any of these collage would be a pipe dream. Get Govt out of everything and things will be affordable again.

No it wasn't fine - not at all. But getting these scumbag government criminals involved made an already bad situation worse - much like our wonderful American 'public' schools which cost more than anywhere else in the civilized world and are the very bottom of the barrel in quality of education.

I'm old enough to remember when doctors made house calls. And if you purchased insurance when you were young and healthy, your premiums didn't rise if you got an expensive health condition provided you maintained coverage, but if you had one, it either wasn't covered or you paid more for it.

And it did work well then.

David Goldhill, CEO of the Game Show Network and author of "How American Health Care Killed My Father" wrote that seniors on Medicare actually pay a greater portion of their income on health care than before Medicare existed! That shows you how much government messes up the free market and raises prices, not including all the money they've paid in Medicare taxes. It suggests abolishing Medicare would save seniors money on health care, even though it's "free". Like PJ O'Rourk observed, if you think things are expensive now, just wait until the government makes it free.

Yes. Plus administrative costs per patient are higher with Medicare than with private insurance. With ACA you have govt administrative costs AND private insurance company administrative costs. There is no way to make it work unless we cut one out of it. And judging from the poor product we get from most government employees I think it's obvious which one.

Medicare is not free.It may be affordable but payments are deducted from your SS every month. Also it's only 80/20 and only pays a certain amount for meds so you have to find a supplemental to help pay for that. After the age of 65 where would a person find a plan they could afford. http://money.cnn.com/2017/0...

Sounds like perhaps we're of a similar age. I remember those days as well. What's happened since then is that the Feds decided to get involved. The more involved they got, the worse they made it for everyone else.

Then, there was also a LOT of pro-bono type medicine being dealt out to those who needed help. Government involvement stopped that, too. Gov is also the CAUSE of high drugs...it goes on and on.
